Refund Policy
This policy explains how GitMe manages subscriptions, billing adjustments, and refunds for our AI-native developer analytics products.
1. Subscriptions and billing cycles
GitMe pricing is usage-based. Plans renew automatically at the cadence selected during purchase (monthly or annually) and are billed on the AI analysis tokens (input and output) you consume with the Gitme‑DevAI model tier you select (Essential, Advanced, or Ultimate). Free initial budgets may apply; ongoing usage is charged at the per‑million‑token rates listed on the Pricing page.
2. Free trials and proofs of concept
We offer pilot environments and short-term trials so teams can validate GitMe before committing. Unless otherwise agreed, trials convert to paid, usage-based subscriptions at the end of the evaluation period, and subsequent AI token consumption will be billed at the published rates for your selected model tier.
3. Refund eligibility
- Requests within 14 days of a new subscription, renewal, or first paid usage after a trial are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Refunds are not provided for unused or unconsumed token allowances when the service remains available.
- Customers with signed agreements should refer to their contract for specific terms.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel at any time via the billing portal or by contacting [email protected]. Service continues until the end of the current billing period. Access to analytics and stored results will be removed after cancellation unless otherwise requested.
5. Service issues
If uptime, data quality, or integrations prevent you from using GitMe as promised, we will work to resolve the issue and offer service credits where appropriate. Please provide logs or screenshots to help us troubleshoot quickly.
6. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback automatically suspends your account. Contact us before filing with your payment provider so we can investigate and resolve the matter together.
7. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your workspace name, invoice number, and reason for the request. We aim to respond within two business days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our pricing evolves. Significant changes will be announced via email or in-product notifications at least 14 days before they take effect.
